DESCRIPTION: Finance and Global Business Services (FGBS), People Experiences and Technology (PXT) seeks a Principal HRBP to drive people and organizational strategy that powers business outcomes. You will partner with senior leaders to influence talent and organizational decisions while serving as a Trusted Advisor on the business leadership team.
Key job responsibilities The Amazon Finance and Global Business Services (FGBS) organization sits at the heart of Amazon's strategic decision-making process, driving financial discipline and enabling Amazon's growth across diverse business lines globally. The Finance team provides critical insights that shape investment decisions, operational efficiency, and long-term business strategy. As Amazon continues to innovate and expand into new markets, the Finance organization ensures we maintain our Day 1 mentality while making sound financial decisions that benefit our customers and shareholders.
In this pivotal HR Business Partner role, you will be the strategic link between PXT and our business leaders, driving forward-thinking talent strategies (Strategic Workforce Planning, Org Design transformation, site strategies, re-imagining talent needs, etc.) that align with and enable our business priorities around the globe. The role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex business challenges into simplified people solutions, influence across multiple stakeholder groups, and implement talent strategies that enable the Finance organization to scale effectively while maintaining Amazon's unique culture. Your strong business acumen will be crucial in translating organizational goals into actionable HR strategies and initiatives. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, providing executive coaching and influencing decision-making at all levels of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of partnering with business leaders to drive strategic initiatives. You should possess excellent communication skills (including doc writing), the ability to diagnose complex issues, and the capability to influence long-term solutions and outcomes. Your expertise in change management, coupled with your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, will be crucial in this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field - 7+ years of HR experience - Experience in advising and influencing executive leadership - Experience analyzing HR data and translating metrics into actionable workforce strategies - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Master's degree in business, HR, or a related field - PHR, GPHR, or SPHR, or experience in a professional field or military - Experience in senior level leadership support - Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
