Experience:
Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard and data entry experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures. Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture. Ensure specimens are labeled correctly in the presence of the patient. Maintain required records and documentation. Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Demonstrate leadership behaviors while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. Support operations at doctors' offices, patient service centers, or other assigned locations based on business needs. Should Have:
Medical assistant or paramedic training. Phlebotomy certification. Qualification and Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
