The Phlebotomist II provides high-quality patient services by collecting blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and a positive patient experience. This role requires strong technical skills, customer focus, and the ability to work in multiple locations as needed. Requirement/Must Have:

One to three years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Two years of experience in a patient service center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Experience with keyboarding and data entry. Responsibilities:
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional work environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures. Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient initials or signature post-collection to confirm proper labeling. Maintain required records and documentation. Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Demonstrate leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy.
