Job Description:

The Phlebotomist II represents the face of the organization to patients by collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while following established procedures. This role builds patient trust, ensures accurate identification and labeling, and supports process excellence with a strong focus on confidentiality and data accuracy. Requirement/Must Have:

bility to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. bility to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Commitment to all company policies and procedures including dress code, employee health and safety, and guiding principles. bility to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable. bility to travel and work flexible hours to support multiple locations with minimal notice. bility to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting. Superior customer focus with strong communication skills and ability to adapt to change. Experience:

Three years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Minimum two years in a patient service center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard and data entry experience required. Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures. Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient initials or signature after venipuncture to ensure correct tube labeling. Maintain required records and documentation. Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Qualification And Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
