Position Description DEFINITION:

The Enrollment & Programs Specialist supports the work of the Enrollment Operations unit by performing complex technical work to build, implement, maintain, and update academic programs of study, curriculum pathways, and course records within the college's student information system and related curriculum management systems. The position is responsible for accurately translating approved curriculum and program actions into system-ready structures that reflect established academic requirements and support effective student access to programs. The Enrollment & Programs Specialist ensures the ongoing accuracy, consistency, and integrity of curriculum and program data; performs detailed data entry, validation, and maintenance activities; generates and analyzes instructional and enrollment-related data; supports curriculum implementation workflows in collaboration with Academic Affairs; assists with the production and maintenance of the college's academic catalog and student-facing curriculum information; and maintains official records of curriculum and program actions processed through the college's curriculum governance processes. This position does not exercise independent authority over curriculum policy, academic standards, or curriculum approval decisions, which remain under the purview of the Chief Academic Officer and the college's established curriculum governance processes. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives direction from the Assistant Director of Enrollment Operations. Exercises no supervision. Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions) ESSENTIAL AND OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS:

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Essential Functions:

Assist with the development and modification of curriculum programs of study in the NCCCS System Office ERP. Assist with the development, modification, and maintenance of curriculum programs of study in the local ERP. Maintain and update curriculum courses in the local ERP. Respond to requests for instructional data. Assist with the production of the college's academic catalog, including programs of study and course descriptions. Assist with the initiation of academic program and course changes as approved by the NCCCS and CFCC's Curriculum Committee. Provides training and assistance to department chairs, administrative assistants, and other constituents as needed. Provides training and assistance with Catalog software to constituents across the college. In collaboration with the Curriculum Committee Chair and department leadership, support facilitation and work of Curriculum Committee. Participates in various work-groups and committees across the campus as it pertains to the position's responsibilities. Other Important Functions:

Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all requested curriculum modifications in the System Office and local ERP. Maintain and make available to appropriate staff detailed records of all modifications of curriculum programs of study and courses. Ensure that all curriculum modifications are processed in accordance with NCCCS and CFCC guidelines. Ensure that all curriculum modifications are accurately represented in the college's academic catalog. Engage in cross-training with Enrollment Operations team members to build competency across functional areas. Provide training and technical assistance on scheduling systems and processes to academic staff and other stakeholders. Collaborate with colleagues to document procedures and develop standard operating practices. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of:

NCCCS System Office ERP (Colleague). NCCS curriculum management standards, resources, and timelines. Principles and procedures of record keeping. Pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes and safety regulations. Academic program of study creation, modification, and maintenance processes in the local ERP (Colleague). Curriculum course modification and maintenance processes in the local ERP (Colleague). Information technologies, including programs such as MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS, and SAS Analytics. Familiarity with or willingness to learn Course and Section building in the local ERP (Colleague). Ability To:

Complete complex curriculum modifications in the System Office and local ERP in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain detailed and accurate records. Generate, analyze, and communicate complex instructional datasets. Stay current with all curriculum modifications and program updates initiated at the system and college level. Communicate complex information succinctly, clearly, and professionally via email, phone, and in person. Understand and interpret pertinent State Education and Administrative codes, policies, and procedures. Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders within and outside of the college. Maintain positive and optimistic outlook. Perform well under pressure and seek opportunities to assist Enrollment Operations team members. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work Interpret and apply CFCC goals, objectives, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for: Making observations Reading and writing Communicating with others Operating assigned equipment Handling varied tasks simultaneously Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES:
