We are seeking a Full-Time Property Manager to help oversee our affordable housing properties in the Muskegon, MI area. What You Will Do:

Efficient Rental Processing: Manage rental applications swiftly and fairly, ensuring compliance with all fair housing laws.

Lease Coordination: Facilitate lease signings, gather necessary compliance documentation, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new residents.

Resident Engagement: Partner with our Corporate Compliance team to communicate effectively with residents, address inquiries, and resolve concerns.

Proactive Inspections: Conduct regular property and apartment inspections, identifying repair needs and ensuring safety standards are met.

Maintenance Oversight: Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors to process work orders and keep maintenance logs up to date.

Other Staff Oversight: Demonstrate the highest professional and customer service standards for yourself and your entire team while collaborating with site team members to ensure the safety of all residents while building a community atmosphere.

Liaison: Collaborate with ownership and the Red Oak corporate team to ensure resident information is correct and all recertifications are completed in a timely manner.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using email, scanning, Microsoft Word, human capital management software, and eager to adopt new digital tools for efficiency.

Community-Oriented: Committed to fostering positive resident relationships and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Lifelong Learner: Open to ongoing training on Fair Housing, Property Management, and emerging industry trends.

Experienced: Previous HUD, LIHTC or RD/LIHTC experience is highly desired in this role, but your drive to learn is most important.

Must hold a valid Michigan driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and be willing to complete a background check.
