Position Summary You'll assist in on-site operations at our apartment community, ensuring everything runs smoothly and residents are satisfied.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process new applications and re-certifications, and provide necessary info to the compliance department.

Show apartments to prospective residents and handle lease negotiations and renewals.

Assist the property manager in overseeing leasing and maintenance staff.

Support marketing and leasing activities as needed.

Maintain compliance policies and procedures.

Help with rent collection, rent ledger, bank deposits, and petty cash records.

Provide account information to the regional supervisor and credit agency.

Assist with resident relations and enforce community rules and regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

1 year of experience.

Language skills: Able to communicate effectively in small groups.

Math skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic and interpreting graphs.

Reasoning skills: Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve simple problems.

Beginner experience with MS Office.

Training Requirements

Annual fair housing, section 42, and leasing classes.

Ongoing professional development.

Physical Demands

Rarely must stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend or lift up to 25 pounds.

Occasionally must stand, walk, reach with hand and arms.

Regularly must sit, use hands to finger/handle/feel, talk and hear.

Close and distance vision is required.

Work Environment

Normally works in an environment with moderate noise.
