
We are seeking a full-time Commercial Transactions Coordinator that can easily multi-task and have the opportunity to play a significant support role in the closing of large, complex commercial real estate transactions. This position will assist a team of Commercial Closers by coordinating during all phases of the title and closing process including title review, handling escrow matters, preparing closing documents, drafting settlement statements, invoices, and cover letters, and undertaking post-closing responsibilities such as recording and finalizing policies.
Support Responsibilities
Prepare new files to be opened
Review commercial purchase agreements, contracts, and lender instructions to ensure compliance with all escrow and title requirements.
Prepare settlement statements and disburse funds in accordance with the terms of the contract and lender instructions.
Prepare charts for multi-site transactions
Send recording packages out and/or E-Record documents
Prepare final policies
Close out files
Knowledge and Characteristics Standards (To Be Achieved for New Employees)
Proficiency with escrow and title software systems
Working knowledge of title commitments, closing documents and closing statement, pro forma policies, policies and endorsements
Demonstrate proper use of grammar, spelling and punctuation, both written and oral
Exhibit organizational skills, follow-up skills, and project coordination abilities
High level of interpersonal skills and willingness to pitch in and help the team
Consistently professional and calm demeanor despite tight deadlines in high pressure
Decision-Making
Determine priorities and meet deadlines. Able to prioritize without supervision
Determine when necessary to consult with team leads in determining requisite priorities and other issues
Ability to "find a way" in pressure situations by taking initiative
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $25-$32 an hour based on location and job‑related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided depending on a number of factors. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package including medical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, paid time off, holidays, and matching 401(k) and employee stock purchase plan.
