
Title: Leasing Specialist
Property: Abbott Apartments
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, on-site position
Pay rate range: $23 - $25 per hour + $100 per Lease through Lease-up
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, full-time thru Lease-Up; part-time thereafter. Will be considered for Assistant Property Manager position after Lease-Up is complete.
The Leasing Specialist is responsible for attracting, engaging, and securing prospective residents while delivering exceptional customer experience. This role serves as the primary point of contact for prospects, guiding them through the leasing process and supporting overall occupancy and revenue goals.
Job duties:
Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and online
Conduct property tours and effectively present community features and amenities
Explain lease terms, rental rates, and community policies clearly and accurately
Process rental applications, screenings, and lease documentation
Follow up with prospects to drive leasing conversions
Maintain accurate records in property management software
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
Qualifications:
1+ year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Sales-oriented mindset with attention to detail
Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Rent Cafe) a plus
Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as needed
