Position Details – Account Servicing Assistant The Account Servicing Assistant will be expected to book new loans/contracts, review documents, and be a point of contact for both internal and external customers regarding process and procedures for the servicing of accounts including but not limited to relaying information regarding timeframes, payment amounts, account status, and other information as may be required. Specific job responsibilities include:
Communicate with customers, internal and external, in a courteous and constructive manner
Reviewing documents
Gather and analyze loan level information
Data input and interpretation
File management such as transaction notes, scanning, maintaining file-level documents
Booking new accounts
Preparation of documents
General banking activity
Drafting customer correspondence
Sending notifications in a timely manner
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Other duties as assigned
Expectations
The person in this role must align with the company's core values
Take direction and ask for clarity when necessary
Ability to collaborate with the team
Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by management
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
1-3 years of experience in accounting, lending, or mortgage servicing is preferred
Previous office experience is required
Bilingual preferred
Skills and Abilities
Problem solving, detail orientation, analytical and critical thinking
Proficiency with Google Suite
Ability to provide outstanding customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
General math and accounting knowledge
Maintain workflow and productivity in a high-volume and fast paced atmosphere
Flexible and decisive
