Kim Varnadore State Farm is seeking a service-oriented, sales-dominant Acquisitions Specialist who thrives on building relationships, delivering value, and closing new business. This role is ideal for someone who leads with empathy, listens first, and confidently turns meaningful conversations into smart buying decisions that protect customers and their families.

You will be responsible for driving new business while delivering a high-quality customer experience. We are looking for a professional who understands that strong service builds trust—and trust builds long-term sales success.

Florida requires proper state licensing to solicit and sell insurance products.

For this position

An active Florida 4-40 Customer Representative license or 2-20 General Lines (Property & Casualty) license is required prior to starting in the office.

If not currently licensed, you must obtain the appropriate Florida Property & Casualty license before your Day 1 start date.

A Florida 2-15 Life, Health & Variable Annuity license must be obtained within 45 days of starting.

Full licensing support, study guidance, and onboarding assistance are provided to help you successfully complete the process.

What You’ll Do

Engage prospective customers through outbound calls, referrals, digital leads, and community outreach

Conduct consultative, needs-based conversations to uncover coverage gaps

Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies

Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities

Follow up consistently and professionally to convert quotes into bound policies

Provide exceptional service throughout the sales process to create long-term client relationships

Collaborate with team members to meet acquisition and growth goals

Track activity and production metrics to ensure performance expectations are met

What We’re Looking For

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined with follow-up

Comfortable initiating contact and handling outbound sales activity

Prior experience in marketing, outreach, customer service, or sales preferred

Ability to meet Florida licensing requirements outlined above
