Position Summary The Commercial Laundry Trainer & Specialist delivers training and technical support for Cleanslate’s commercial laundry programs. This role leads employee development, supports dispensing equipment performance, and assists with escalated service needs to maintain consistent, high-quality results across all accounts.
What You Will Do Employee Training and Development
Train Cleanslate employees on commercial laundry procedures, wash formulas, chemical use, and equipment operation
Lead new hire onboarding for laundry chemicals, service procedures, and program standards
Train teams on installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting dose smart dispensing systems
Create and maintain SOPs, training materials, and technical documentation
Conduct ride-alongs and field coaching to reinforce performance and service expectations
Technical Expertise and Internal Support
Serve as the internal technical resource for laundry program performance, product usage, wash quality, and formula optimization.
Support the sales and service teams during operational assessments, performance issues, and system evaluations.
Assist with internal troubleshooting related to dispensing equipment, wash results, and stain or linen quality concerns.
Perform periodic audits of internal service practices to ensure consistency with company protocols.
Customer-Facing Support (As Assigned)
Accompany employees on customer visits for escalated technical support, system calibration, equipment setup, or advanced training needs.
Provide expertise during installations or corrective service situations in accordance with Cleanslate’s service model, which includes regular onsite visits and support.
Support account representatives in delivering consistent and reliable service aligned with company standards.
Compliance and Safety
Train employees on SDS requirements, chemical handling procedures, and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with internal safety guidelines and industry best practices related to chemical use and equipment handling.
Maintain awareness of Cleanslate’s commitment to safer, eco-focused formulations and ensure training aligns with these principles.
Other Duties Maintain accurate records of training activities, field reports, and equipment assessments. Provide feedback to management regarding operational trends, product performance, and training needs.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial laundry operations, chemical dispensing systems, textile care, or related technical fields.
Experience delivering technical or operational training to employees.
Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical dispensing equipment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.
Experience within the industrial cleaning, textile care, or hygiene solutions industry (Preferred)
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) (Preferred)
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, move, or transport equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, or work onsite for extended periods during training or installations.
Ability to work in commercial facility environments including laundry rooms, mechanical spaces, and service areas.
Schedule Monday to Friday (Hybrid – NJ Headquarters / Remote) Regular travel required for employee ride-alongs, customer sites, and field training.
