Job Description At Regions the Consumer Banking Manager provides leadership and direction of sales service and operational excellence for Branch Managers in their respective area. This position serves as a manager coach and mentor and ensures that teams are meeting and exceeding branch sales quality and service goals while maintaining operationally efficient and compliant branches.
Primary Responsibilities
Leads a small to moderate sized area or market of branches responsible for contributing to new revenue generation through identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions solutions
Oversees overall branch performance and business results within their respective area
Coaches and manages Branch Managers on increasing employee participation in daily activities and incorporating the Regions 360 process daily in the retail bank
Provides guidance and coaching on sales performance and skills development of the branch sales teams in their area
Develops and implements short and long range operational and sales goals and ensures goals are met or exceeded
Evaluates branch effectiveness and ensures branches maintain high levels of service quality, associate engagement and are compliant with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and internal audit requirements
Promotes and executes retail growth strategy while at the same time optimizing efficiency to meet budget expectations and other key performance indicators
Establishes a solid presence and positive profile in the community that reinforces the bank’s strong brand image
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Eight (8) years of financial services sales or sales management experience
Preferences
College degree
Experience in leading and managing sales teams within a financial services industry
Banking and/or lending experience
Relationship-based client consultation experience
Skills and Competencies
Ability to execute business plans
Ability to exhibit mastery of key advice, guidance and education concepts
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to provide effective feedback and guidance
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Excellent leadership and problem‑solving skills

Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and performance in the job role. Target pay information for the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range is as follows:
Minimum: $110,103.26 USD
Median: $150,150.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: Eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan; potential to earn incentives based on performance metrics and participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
