About The Position The
Marketing Generalist
supports Dometic’s Thousand Oaks based marketing team through hands‑on coordination, logistics and day‑to‑day execution of marketing activities. This role is an essential in‑office contributor supporting event execution, marketing material preparation and distribution, campaign coordination and general marketing tasks.
Approximately 20% of this role involves supporting the Demand Planning by recording marketing‑related inputs, maintaining data and ensuring cross‑functional calendar alignment.
This is an excellent role for a highly organized, detail‑oriented individual who thrives in an environment where every day brings a new mix of tasks.
Your Main Responsibilities
Coordinate and support the planning and execution of marketing and sales events, including trade shows, field events, activations and internal events.
Serve as a point of contact between the marketing team and other departments regarding event needs.
Manage event logistics, including ordering materials, coordinating vendors, arranging shipments and ensuring all supplies and assets arrive on time.
Pack and ship all marketing materials and event supplies, maintaining careful organization and tracking.
Attendance of occasional events on weekends.
Assist the marketing team in executing multi‑channel campaigns, including social media, email and content marketing.
Help create and distribute marketing content including social posts, basic graphics, presentations and written deliverables.
Assist in managing and updating content calendars for campaigns, seasonal initiatives and product launches.
Support social media scheduling, posting, community engagement and monitoring trends.
Help maintain marketing materials inventory (brochures, swag, POP), prepare shipments as needed and restock items.
Support in organizing and maintaining digital asset repositories, marketing files and internal documentation.
Track departmental expenses, assist with budget updates and maintain vendor file documentation.
Support use of marketing tools such as Wrike, DotDigital, Yotpo, social platforms, CMS or other systems used by the team.
Conduct competitive and market research, analyzing marketing and consumer trends and behaviors.
Support marketing reporting by gathering campaign performance data and organizing analytics dashboards.
Collect insights and summarize findings for the Marketing Lead and broader team.
Record marketing calendar inputs, dates and GTM information for use in demand‑related documents.
Maintain accurate marketing data required by the Demand Planner.
Support cross‑functional communication by ensuring documentation and timelines are aligned.
Assist with basic data entry, review and maintenance required for building demand‑related reports.
Provide general administrative and marketing support such as scheduling, meeting coordination, internal communication and project organization.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions and internal reviews.
Act as an in‑office resource for the Marketing Team and Demand Planner.
Represent the brand professionally at events or internal functions.

A suitable background would be experience in any kind of marketing function with a focus on creative and production tasks, ideally combined with:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or 2+ years of experience in a similar marketing role.
Demonstrated experience supporting marketing tasks such as event logistics, content creation, or campaign coordination.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving pieces.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with marketing tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work full‑time, on‑site in Thousand Oaks, CA
