Role Description As a Designer at BC Interiors, you will be a critical part of the interior solutions that we design for our customers.This is a full-time salaried role and the position is based in Boulder, CO, with some flexibility for remote work after 6 months. Responsibilities include creating effective space plans, designing interior environments, collaborating with clients to understand project needs, working with construction documents, and specifying furniture to align with client specifications.
Working in a smaller company requires our team members to wear multiple hats for most projects, however, your key responsibilities will be:
The Value You'll Provide Our Clients:
Owning projects from concept & design through install packages, ensuring your designs meet our client's scope and budget
Collaborate with account managers, project managers, and customers
Handle client communication and presentations, including building design packages and fabric/finish boards
Specify furniture and finishes from our key lines
Construct drawing sets using correct code requirements
What You Bring:
3+years of experience in Commercial Interiors and/or K-12 Education Design
Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design practices with a passion for furniture
High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills for working with clients and team members
Other Strong Qualifications:
Experienced in commercial furniture industry standards and solutions including Haworth and HON
Ability to interpret Architecture and Construction drawings
Experience in CET Designer
Your Compensation & Benefits Package:
Salary range of $55,000 - $85,000 dependent on relevant years of design experience
