Pay Rate:

$23 - $29 per hour

Position Description We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to plan, design, and deliver high-impact learning solutions that drive measurable performance improvement. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop engaging, effective instructional programs across classroom, virtual, and self-directed learning environments.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in instructional design methodologies, curriculum development, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia learning, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, learner-centered experiences. This role offers the opportunity to influence organizational capability development while working with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain instructional courses and curricula aligned with defined learning objectives and business outcomes

Conduct learning needs assessments and performance analyses to recommend customized training solutions

Collaborate with trainers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional partners to ensure accuracy, relevance, and instructional effectiveness

Develop engaging learning assets, including e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, training games, graphics, and job aids

Utilize instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE or similar) to structure course development and delivery

Create, edit, and manage learning activities within the LMS, including assignments, tracking, and reporting

Evaluate course effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and analytics; continuously improve learning content and delivery methods

Present instructional solutions and findings to diverse audiences, including senior and executive leadership

Support multiple instructional design projects with varying complexity, scope, and timelines

Required Skills / Education

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Training & Development, Business, Communications, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Advanced knowledge of instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and educational psychology

Proven experience designing and evaluating instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs

Hands‑on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technologies

Strong research, writing, and content development skills

Experience creating multimedia learning content; exposure to e-learning authoring tools preferred

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners
