Job Overview The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships within an assigned geographic territory. This role requires close collaboration with customers and internal teams to meet and exceed annual sales objectives, while delivering value-driven solutions aligned with customer operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of reciprocating products, services, and parts, with a focus on engines and compressors
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
Understand customer business objectives and identify solutions to operational challenges
Present and promote technical solutions, innovations, and service offerings
Develop and execute sales strategies for targeted accounts to achieve growth targets
Partner with technical sales and support teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate and timely customer and opportunity data within CRM systems on a daily basis
Travel approximately 70% within the assigned territory to support customer engagement and sales efforts
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum High School diploma or GED required
Knowledge of oilfield operations, production facilities, and compression systems
Experience with reciprocating compressors and engines
Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capability
Proven ability to build and sustain customer relationships
Results-driven mindset with a collaborative, empowerment-based leadership style
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, CRM systems, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
