About the Role This role supports ToroAire’s HVAC and commercial kitchen business by driving sales of air distribution and HVAC products and supporting projects from early design through order fulfillment. This role works closely with outside sales, engineering, and operations teams to develop opportunities, prepare quotes, and deliver accurate, timely solutions to customers. The Product Sales Representative serves as a key point of contact for contractors, engineers, and internal partners, combining technical understanding with strong customer service and sales execution to grow product revenue and support long-term account relationships.
Job duties
Supporting assigned Outside Sales Engineers to facilitate sales
Supporting fellow Inside Sales Engineers as back‑up, when necessary
Advising customers with the proper application and selection of the equipment we sell
Preparing quotes for equipment based on customer input
Entering orders for the equipment sold by the Outside Sales Engineers
Detailed tracking of the order process
Managing the virtual files for all projects in which assigned salespeople are involved
Using the selection programs provided by our manufacturers to select and configure equipment for design and quoting to contractors
Assisting customers with technical support on our product lines and maintaining good working relationships through verbal and written correspondence
Preparing submittals for equipment sold
Experience
Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) preferred, but will consider equivalent job experience.
Critical Skill Set
Must be extremely detailed oriented
Customer service driven
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong computer skills
Work well in a Team setting
Thrive in a fast paced, multi‑task environment
NetSuite experience not required, but a big plus
Compensation $31.25‑$40.86/hr DOE
