Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Freelance Social Media & Content Coordinator supporting Hawks FC’s programs and community. While much of the role is remote, this position includes attending select practices, clinics, games, and events to capture content and highlight the impact of Hawks FC’s work.
The coordinator will manage and grow Hawks FC’s social media presence through content creation, scheduling, and community engagement. Responsibilities include capturing on-site content, supporting social media campaigns, and tracking performance to inform strategy. The coordinator will work closely with the Hawks FC team to ensure consistent branding and authentic storytelling across all platforms.
This role is ideal for a self-directed creative who enjoys being in community spaces, capturing real moments, and supporting girls’ and women’s sports.
Qualifications
Experience creating content for social media platforms
Strong communication and visual storytelling skills
Comfortable capturing photo and video content at live practices, clinics, and events
General understanding of social media platforms and best practices
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines
Passion for youth development, women’s sports, and community-based work
Familiarity with soccer or sports environments is a plus
