Wholesale Sales Manager (Part-Time, Remote)

Mignonne Gavigan is seeking a highly driven, sales-oriented Wholesale Sales Manager to grow and expand our wholesale business across luxury retailers, boutiques, resorts, and hospitality partners. This role is part-time and remote, with required availability for New York City market weeks and key in-person appointments.

This is a true hunter + closer role — ideal for someone who thrives on opening new doors, building relationships, and driving revenue. You will own new account acquisition, wholesale sales growth, and order execution in partnership with internal teams and our 3PL.

Role Overview The Wholesale Sales Manager is responsible for driving wholesale revenue growth through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and sales execution. This role will focus heavily on new business development, while also supporting and growing select existing accounts.

You will be expected to identify, pitch, and close new wholesale partners, including luxury boutiques, resort destinations, and high-end hotels, while ensuring all wholesale orders are properly placed and fulfilled through our 3PL and ERP.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development

Proactively identify, pitch, and secure new wholesale accounts, with a strong focus on:

Retail Stores and Online Outlets

Resorts and destination retail

Luxury hotels and hospitality partners

Emerging and high-potential specialty boutiques

Develop and maintain a robust outbound sales pipeline, consistently calling on new doors

Manage a wholesale command center - new doors, current doors, all sales, contacts, and significant KPIs to measure the success of wholesale and retail

Conduct virtual and in-person sales appointments, showroom meetings, and market appointments

Represent the brand during New York City market weeks, appointments, and key sales moments

Own the full sales cycle: outreach → presentation → order close → follow-through

Wholesale Account Management

Manage relationships with select existing wholesale accounts to drive reorders, core replenishment, seasonal buy growth

Partner with accounts on product assortment strategy and best-selling styles

Track and follow up on reorders, opportunities, and growth potential

Manage sales selling reports from all wholesale accounts

Order Placement & Operations

Ensure all wholesale orders are accurately placed with the 3PL

Ensure all wholesale orders are shipped and paid for on time

Work closely with the AR team to ensure payments are received

Coordinate closely with internal teams to confirm inventory availability, delivery timing, and fulfillment

Maintain clean order documentation and sales records

Support sales reporting, pipeline tracking, and performance metrics

Strategy & Growth

Identify new opportunities within resort, travel, and hospitality retail channels

Provide feedback on customer demand, assortment performance, and market trends

Support a broader wholesale strategy with insights from the field

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in wholesale sales, preferably within fashion, jewelry, accessories, or luxury goods

Proven track record of opening new accounts and driving revenue

Strong existing network within luxury retail, resorts and destination retail, hotels and hospitality retail

Highly motivated, sales-driven, and results-oriented

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Available for NYC market weeks and key in-person sales moments

Organized, detail-oriented, and confident in handling order execution with a 3PL

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Compensation

Hourly rate (part-time)

Commission-based compensation tied to wholesale sales performance

Commission structure to be clearly defined based on new and existing account sales
