Position Overview The

Private Capital Strategist

supports private capital teams by developing and executing strategies to optimize investment programs, attract and manage investor commitments, and enhance portfolio outcomes.

This role blends strategic analysis, market insight, and investor engagement, often collaborating closely with investment professionals, portfolio managers, client relations teams, and risk management. The strategist plays a key role in driving capital growth, portfolio planning, and alignment with long-term investment objectives.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement private capital strategies to support investment programs and fund initiatives

Conduct market, sector, and investor research to identify opportunities and trends in private capital markets

Support capital raising efforts by preparing presentations, investment summaries, and investor materials

Collaborate with portfolio and investment teams to optimize capital deployment, allocation, and risk-return profiles

Analyze portfolio performance, asset allocation, and capital utilization to inform strategic decisions

Maintain and track investor engagement, pipeline activity, and reporting for senior management

Identify opportunities to expand the investor base, enhance relationships, and optimize capital strategy

Prepare strategic reports, dashboards, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field

Strong understanding of private capital markets, investment structures, and institutional investor dynamics

Experience or coursework in private equity, private credit, real assets, or institutional investor relations (preferred but not required)

Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for strategic communication with investors and stakeholders

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/investor management tools

Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives and deadlines in fast-paced environments

Strong interest in private capital strategy, portfolio planning, and investor engagement
