Key Responsibilities
As a leader in the Digital Asset CoE the Director or Digital Assets Client Solutions will support the Head of Digital Assets for Americas and Europe, the DA Center of Excellence, and senior leaders across CCIB, SC Ventures and CPBB to ensure the effective management and prioritisation of the group's Digital Assets (DA) strategy in the Americas. This leadership role will work with the Americas leadership teams to support the implementation of the group Digital Asset strategy in these regions and to help embed DA competence in both regions. Strategy •
Lead the execution of global and local DA strategic initiatives in the Americas and enable thoughtful regulatory and industry engagement on DA. •
Lead the DA strategy for the region by working with the Head of DA in Americas and Europe, and the regional Management Teams. •
Define the Digital Asset market opportunities and prioritise initiatives with the highest potential commercial return. Business •
Support client coverage in discussions with US and LatAm clients on DA topics. •
Work across business lines and functions to coordinate executions and help establish appropriate design for delivery of Digital Asset Capability. •
Lead the growth in DA capability regionally through deep engagement with stakeholders. •
Act as a subject matter expert for Americas in identifying and prioritising the commercial opportunity for Digital Assets for the region. Processes •
Simplify complicated ideas into actionable, measurable pieces and communicate those ideas to key stakeholders to generate buy-in. •
Drive support and collaboration for projects at all levels (senior and junior to you) and bring others on the DA journey. •
Contribute to the development of tools and processes for the group such as Coin Assessment and Higher Risk Framework. •
Collaborate with Technology and Operations functions to ensure appropriate frameworks and operational infrastructure are in place to support efficiency in the delivery of Digital Asset initiatives in the region. People & Talent •
Set an example across the group not only with respect to the Group Valued behaviours but also in terms of Digital Asset knowledge and engagement to reinforce a culture of excellence in Digital Assets. •
Support the Head, Digital Assets for Americas and Europe and the relevant business leads in the acquisition of world class Digital Asset talent. •
Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations, work in collaboration with risk and control partners. •
Adhere to code of conduct prescribed by relevant authorities. •
Work with the Americas leadership team by advising on the acquisition, retention, and development of talent in the region. Risk Management •
Support the Americas leadership teams relevant Risk initiative leads to develop the appropriate methodologies for embedding Digital Assets. •
Develop appropriate reporting and oversight for Digital Assets in the region including the reporting and escalation of Risks and Issues. •
Adhere to all Group Policies and relevant legislation covering credit, operational, reputational risk among others. •
Complete all mandatory e-learning, attestations, compliance requirements and requests for information in a timely manner. Governance •
Ensure effective governance and regular reporting across Digital Asset initiatives and business in the region. Contribute to global governance and reporting. •
Represent Americas issues to the Digital Asset Risk Committee. •
Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role. •
Willingness to 'speak up' in the event of any realised or perceived breach of group conduct rules or laws by colleagues. •
Willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner. Skills and Experience

Education •
Degree education preferred but not mandatory Training •
Demonstrated market knowledge of Digital Assets, Crypto and Web3. Fintech also considered favourably. •
Proven experience executing business plans and initiatives with high growth companies. •
Established skills working across large groups of complex stakeholders including regulators. •
Excellent Presentation and PowerPoint skills •
Familiar with modern productivity tools, ADO, Teams, Slack, Trello, Mural, Jira, Confluence. Certifications •

The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location.
