Job Summary
Medline has an immediate opening for a Director, eCommerce Sales in our Retail division! This position will be based out of our Northfield, IL headquarters and will work on a hybrid model. The Director, eCommerce Sales will be responsible for leading commercial strategy and driving revenue performance across key digital channels. This role oversees account management, customer engagement, and execution of growth plans across online marketplaces and direct‑to‑consumer platforms. The Director translates enterprise eCommerce strategy into channel‑specific action plans and partners cross‑functionally to ensure initiatives are well‑supported and aligned.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Own overall revenue delivery and growth strategy for assigned eCommerce channels.
Manage pricing, promotions, assortment decisions, and funding aligned to performance goals.
Develop channel‑specific commercial plans based on enterprise eCommerce objectives.
Drive disciplined execution of promotional events, new product launches, and commercial negotiations.
Serve as the senior commercial leader for online marketplace and platform partnerships.
Lead business planning, forecasting alignment, and promotional strategy discussions.
Manage vendor relationships and commercial negotiations, escalating key issues when needed.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through data‑driven insights and execution consistency.
Lead and develop the eCommerce Account Management team across multiple digital channels.
Establish ownership models, operating standards, and execution expectations for the team.
Maintain a consistent cadence for forecasting, promotional planning, new product setup, and performance reviews.
Coach team members to balance hands‑on execution with strategic discipline.
Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, content, planning, pricing, operations, and analytics teams.
Ensure customer commitments align with inventory, fulfillment capabilities, and financial parameters.
Identify risks proactively and drive timely resolution through cross‑functional collaboration.
Drive forecast accuracy with planning teams and lead regular business reviews on key performance metrics.
Follow through on action plans to enhance predictability and reduce business risk.
Deliver executive‑ready commercial insights and performance updates.
Lead, mentor, and develop account managers and sales leaders to strengthen organizational capabilities.
Establish clear performance goals tied to revenue, execution excellence, and collaboration.
Foster a culture of shared accountability, continuous improvement, and effective cross‑functional partnership.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Business, Analytics, or related field preferred.
5–8+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, catalog management, or analytics roles.
Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating margin, cost changes, and promotional impacts.
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams.
High attention to detail and strong execution discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Amazon and/or Walmart pricing mechanics.
Experience supporting both 1P and 3P business models.
Background in large, complex catalogs or regulated product environments.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $154,000.00 - $231,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
