Generalist for Cultural Events. This role involves executing over 40 outdoor events in Portland, including Concerts and Movies in the Park, Washington Park Summer Festival, East Portland Summer Arts Festival, and more. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the vibrant cultural scene in Portland while gaining valuable experience in event coordination and community engagement. The position is temporary and will end in September 2026. It is full-time, requiring a work schedule of 32 hours per week, including afternoons, late evenings, and weekends. The work location is Rice School (6433 NE Tillamook St, Portland, OR 97213), with travel to various locations citywide. This position is eligible for Language Pay Differential for qualifying employees and is represented by LiUNA Laborers' Local 483 - Recreation. Experience in audiovisual technology is also required, along with the willingness to work in various weather conditions and the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
