
About The Role: The Account Executive owns the full sales cycle and drives net-new growth for SmartMoving. Youll work with SMB moving companies that want to run a tighter, more profitable operation. Your job is to uncover real pain, move deals forward with urgency, and show operators how SmartMoving becomes the backbone of their business. Youll run clean discovery, deliver a crisp profitability story, and collaborate with Marketing, CS, and Product to keep our go-to-market motion aligned. Youll use Salesforce with discipline and lean on AI tools like ChatGPT and Momentum to sharpen research, personalize outreach, and tighten follow-up. SmartMoving is the category leader. The Account Executive who thrives here learns quickly, works with intention, and brings a steady, repeatable approach to hitting quota in a high velocity environment. Job Responsibilities Prioritize ICP fit from the start. Protect your time and focus on accounts where SmartMoving can win and deliver real value. Qualify fast and disqualify just as fast. Keep the pipeline clean and intentional. Run sharp discovery and map SmartMovings value to real operational and financial outcomes. Build trust with owners and GMs who care about efficiency, margins, and crew performance. Deliver a clear profitability story that shows how SmartMoving strengthens their entire workflow. Manage pipeline with discipline and maintain accurate, complete data in Salesforce. Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Momentum to speed up research, personalize outreach, and improve follow-up. Collaborate with Marketing on account targeting, messaging, and feedback loops. Partner with CS and Product to share field insights that shape roadmap and GTM motions. Forecast with precision and own your number every month and quarter. Performance Metrics Consistent attainment of monthly and quarterly quota. High win rates within ICP accounts and tight disqualification outside it. Strong demo to close conversion driven by clear discovery and value alignment. Accurate, disciplined pipeline hygiene and forecasting in Salesforce. Reliable activity cadence that supports healthy pipeline coverage. Quality of handoff and downstream customer fit based on your qualification work. Experience Minimum 2 years in an AE role with a proven record of beating quota. Strong performance selling SaaS into SMBs, especially in home services or other operationally intense markets. Comfortable running the entire day out of Salesforce and keeping data clean.Skilled at using AI tools like ChatGPT and Momentum to accelerate research, personalization, and follow-up. Deep understanding of SaaS fundamentals: sharp qualification, real discovery, multi-threading, steady deal progression, and confident closing. Familiarity with ABM motions is helpful. High learning velocity, strong curiosity, and the ability to adapt fast when priorities shift. Key Skills Clear, direct communicator who can break down value without noise. Strong instinct for ICP fit and disciplined disqualification. Effective at uncovering operational pain and mapping it to outcomes. Consistent pipeline management and forecasting accuracy. Organized and steady under pressure, even with high volume. Skilled at fast personalization using AI without losing authenticity.
