Position: Designer III (multiple positions available)

Multiple Positions Available:

1.\tAnalyze and translate business needs into a product learning curriculum;

2.\tBuild and deliver innovative training that is easily applied across e-learning, in-person and virtual instructor-led modalities;

3.\tDesign and develop online learning materials, including learning objectives, content and assessment tools;

4.\tEnsure adult learning principles and systematic instructional design are applied to create the required learning solutions and programs used to create learning content that best fits the needs of the learner (includes online, classroom, virtual instructor-led training and blended learning content);

5.\tWork with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across Amazon Ads to understand the training needs and build effective training that leverages the latest technology and adult learning concepts;

6.\tUse project management tools and skills to manage medium-to-large-scale content development projects;

7.\tManage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and mitigate risks to eliminate potential roadblocks in the design, development and implementation of training;

8.\tAssess the impact of training and measure knowledge retention;

9.\tMaster training software and learning systems to deliver training and report on training effectiveness, iterating on content and delivery as needed; and

10.\tParticipate in the hiring process as well as mentor others and improve the skills and abilities of other team members.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $141,000.00/year to $190,700.00/year)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Learning and Development, or related discipline and 5 years of experience in design. In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Learning and Development, or related discipline followed by 8 years of progressively responsible experience in design.

Experience must include:

1.\t5 years direct experience in designing and developing training materials and content to include online/e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, job aids, online tutorials, multimedia products (video, graphic, audio), and other training materials.

2.\t5 years of experience using data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance.

3.\t5 years of experience using video editing tools and eLearning development software (Evolve, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Final Cut, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Camtasia or similar).

4.\t5 years of experience leveraging learning management systems and/or other content delivery platforms (e.g., publishing and managing courseware).

5.\t3 years of experience partnering with and presenting to executives, business leaders and stakeholders.

The pay range for this position in Seattle, Washington is $141,000.00/year to $190,700.00/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
