Job Description: Execution-focused packaging production graphic designer responsible for preparing, updating, and finalizing print-ready artwork across high-volume SKUs to meet regulatory and compliance-driven packaging updates.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver print-ready packaging files with accuracy and consistency
Roll out artwork updates across multiple SKUs using existing templates
Extend and resize artwork across varying package sizes and formats
Make precise production edits (barcode placement, regulatory changes, artwork shifts)
Apply knowledge of offset, flexographic, and gravure printing processes
Review, edit, and correct files prior to prepress handoff
Ensure brand, legal, regulatory, logo, copy, and part-number accuracy
Review color proofs and apply color-correction best practices
Manage multiple high-volume projects simultaneously (4-6 SKUs per day)
Collaborate with designers, design managers, engineers, marketing, and operations teams
Track work and project status using Excel-based tracking tools
Requirements: Must-Haves: 4 years of packaging graphic design or production artwork experience
Proven experience producing packaging files for physical products
Strong understanding of dielines, layout, type, color, and print specifications
Experience with offset and flexographic printing (plastic and carton packaging)
Ability to work quickly and accurately within existing templates
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
Active Adobe Creative Cloud subscription (required for font access)
Experience managing high-volume SKU production work
Nice-to-Haves:
Consumer packaged goods (Client) background Experience with packaging approval or prepress systems Familiarity with barcode updates and regulatory-driven packaging changes
