
TITLE: Worship Director

REPORTS TO: Chief Creative Pastor (CCP)
SUMMARY The Worship Director serves as the primary worship leadership partner to the Chief Creative Pastor, co‑leading on stage and stewarding the execution of the creative worship vision. This role ensures that creative direction is translated into clear plans, systems, and action – allowing the CCP to remain focused on vision, leadership, and creative development.
The Worship Director spends significant time with the Broadcast Campus worship team (vocalists and musicians), while also providing central leadership, care, and operational support to worship leaders across all LifeFamily campuses. This role combines worship leadership, vocal direction, administration, project management, and pastoral care.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
Worship Leadership & Creative Partnership
Co‑lead worship with the Chief Creative Pastor at the Broadcast Campus.
Serve as a strong, accomplished lead vocalist and trusted on‑stage leader.
Assist in shaping service flow, transitions, and ministry moments.
Step in to lead worship as needed.
Broadcast Campus Team Leadership
Provide direct leadership and oversight to Broadcast Campus vocalists and musicians.
Oversee the part‑time Music Director.
Lead and coordinate rehearsals, run‑throughs, and service preparation.
Serve as primary Vocal Director for the Broadcast Campus.
Central Worship Leadership & Care
Serve as the main day‑to‑day contact for campus worship leaders.
Provide guidance, resources, and clarity while assisting in shepherding leaders.
Ensure consistency of worship culture and values across campuses.
Administration, Systems & Operations
Oversee auditions for vocalists and musicians (paid and volunteer roles).
Manage Planning Center workflows.
Serve as liaison with accounting for compensation of contracted musicians and vocalists.
Coordinate scheduling, communication, and logistics.
LifeFamily Worship Projects
Project manage all LifeFamily Worship initiatives (songwriting, recording, licensing, and distribution).
Coordinate timelines and communication with internal and external partners.
Events, Guests & Training Logistics
Oversee logistics for worship gatherings and training events.
Coordinate accommodations for guest artists.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Proven worship leader with strong vocal ability.
Functional proficiency on guitar or keys.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Experience in large or multi‑campus church settings.
Pastoral heart and strong relational leadership.
Alignment with LifeFamily theology, mission and values.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Planning Center required.
Working knowledge of current worship, production, and project‑management software.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the Chief Creative Pastor.
Oversees the Music Director.
Works closely with Production and Communications Directors.
Supports campus worship leaders across all LifeFamily locations.
HOURS Sunday: 6:30am to 2pm
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00am to 4:30pm
