Job Description At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Operations Trainer works within an area of the Lending Operations group to train and coach new representatives. This position also assists with ongoing coaching, project coordination, and testing.

Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner.

Primary Responsibilities

Trains new and existing associates in Operations

Prepares and schedules training sessions

Monitors new associates during training periods to ensure accuracy and quality control

Facilitates continuing education of existing client service procedures

Offers recommendations to management in procedure implementation

Monitors calls for training purposes and provides effective feedback

Assists in planning projects that impact assigned area of Lending Operations

Performs testing as needed for projects

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Two (2) years of customer service, training, or related experience

Skills and Competencies

Ability to remain calm and focused under stressful conditions

Demonstrated leadership skills

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good time management and prioritization skills

Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills

Strong attention to detail

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.

Schedule Monday - Friday, between 8:00am-6:00pm

Position Type Full time

Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target Minimum:

$40,000.00 USD

Median:

$48,310.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This job is not incentive eligible.
