
Job Description Intro:
The D365 Functional Consultant will provide in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O ERP application and serve as a SME by evaluating the customers' requirements, business processes and current issues to develop models and provide effective solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities Participate in discovery meetings with the client to understand current business processes that need to be incorporated into D365 FSC Work with the client to understand the current D365 F&O ERP environment setup, business processes and data footprint as part of Discovery. Document mapping of that data for conversion by technical staff Lead Setup of new Entity in D365 and migrate the configurations covering additional reporting ledgers per Business Requirements Create Functional and Configuration documentation and Configure application as appropriate to conform to business process definition Perform Data conversions across data elements Invoices, PO's, Production Orders, PO's, Items, Suppliers, Customers etc. and validate the data with Business Team to get sign off Conduct CRP Sessions to provide demo to Business users and collect feedback Create Test Scenarios with Business across value streams and lead the SIT and UAT phases of the Program to execute the Testing Create Training material for incremental functionalities enabled, Train users in a hands-on methodology. Develop and deliver presentations to customers by outlining findings and recommendations to guide the implementation of the identified solution Provide on-going support to end users, assisting with trouble shooting or additional training via email, phone or site visits Maintain and expand client relationships through delivery of high-quality services Fully utilize Microsoft Technology and the Microsoft Azure Stack (LCS, BPM, VSTS, Task guides, PowerApps, Office 365, etc.)
Experience and qualifications 5+ years of significant industry experience years of D365 FSC 5+ implementation experience required Minimum of 3 or more Dynamics F&O ERP full life cycle implementations Microsoft certifications in Dynamics D365 FSC - highly desirable BA/BSc/BCom in Computer Science, or Accounting preferred Experience with D365 F&O Data Conversion required Experience with multiple legal entities, reporting currency, reporting ledgers management Experience with associated tools and technologies such as SQL Reporting Services are highly desirable Excellent demonstration and presentation skills Ability to travel to provide services to clients
Additional requirements (required): Advanced level of experience in Manufacturing industry Strong project implementation skills (planning, data conversion, module setups, training, project management, reporting) Ability to recognize and incorporate client needs at a worker level Proactive approach in communicating project status and project risks to all parties, internal and external Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams Structured approach to problem-solving and project execution. Good time management, well organised, consistently meeting commitments and creating high level deliverables.
Essential Skills: 10+ years of hands on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations SaaS ERP implementation experience (Preferably Finance) or else OM, Inventory, Production, Purchasing etc, strong communication skills, ability to drive requirement gathering, design, oracle configurations, data conversions, training, user acceptance testing, CRP phases independently. Potential travels to Mexico during key phases of the project. Desired Skills: Knowledge of Setting up new new reporting currency ledger to support multi currency reporting requirements.
