Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to start as early as 7:30 AM provided availability during DOC core hours.

ROLE OVERVIEW Our client requires a senior-level Business Analyst to support new application development and enhancements to existing systems used by the Department of Corrections and the Pennsylvania Parole Board. The role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and system requirements in support of complex business and legislative initiatives.

This position works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and database resources, operating primarily within a Waterfall requirements environment while supporting Agile-based development tracking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect, analyze, and document business rules, processes, and legislative requirements Lead business and system requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders nalyze policies, procedures, legislation, and RFP documentation to determine required system or process changes Develop and document functional and system requirements for new development and system enhancements Prepare and review detailed functional specifications for developer implementation Develop use cases and other structured requirements documentation Execute responsibilities independently with minimal oversight Support system testing activities and validation efforts ssist with system change requests and prioritization of enhancements Create training materials related to system changes and enhancements Troubleshoot system, data, and process-related issues Collaborate with development and database teams to document data migration and integration rules Prepare process flows and visual mockups to support requirements definition Document current-state and future-state business processes

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Systems Development and Methodologies

7 years of experience with SDLC using Waterfall and or Agile methodologies Requirements and Analysis

7 years of experience writing use cases and requirements documentation 7 years of experience developing business requirements 7 years of experience developing functional requirements 7 years of experience in business process re-engineering

TECHNOLOGY-SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE Data Analysis

bility to perform basic SQL queries for analysis purposes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3 years of experience in business change management 3 years of experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS)
