Role Overview
The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for the design and development of Salesforce applications within the healthcare domain. This role involves understanding business requirements, coding, testing, debugging, and delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions. The developer will be accountable for the full development lifecycle, from planning through implementation, and will provide technical guidance to project teams to ensure scalable and reliable solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities Design, develop, test, debug, and implement Salesforce applications Work extensively with Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Flow, Visualforce, and SOQL Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, and implementation Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Ensure high-quality deliverables through best practices and code reviews Support integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs Work Allocation
50% Development 20% Testing 20% Design, analysis, requirements, and implementation 10% Collaboration Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related IT field, or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and supporting Salesforce applications and platform solutions Strong experience in Salesforce application development Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Strong experience with REST APIs for system integrations Solid understanding of object-oriented design patterns and Salesforce data modeling best practices Experience developing Salesforce reports and dashboards Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or SVN Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Preferred / Plus Skills
Experience in healthcare insurance domain Experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex, Flow, Visualforce, and SOQL Experience with multi-cloud architectures and AWS Experience with Salesforce call center implementations Experience with CI/CD tools such as Copado Understanding and knowledge of AI concepts Agentforce 360 experience or knowledge Development using AI tools such as Agentforce DX and Agentforce Vibes Data Cloud / Data 360 experience or knowledge Integration experience with other SaaS systems
