Job description About the Role:
The Assistant Designer will support the Women’s Outerwear Design team. This role is ideal for a technically strong, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in seasonal concept development, including trend research, mood boards, and color palette creation.
Create detailed technical flat sketches and update them throughout the development process as changes occur.
Help prepare and maintain tech packs, including BOMs, construction details, trim pages, and measurement callouts.
Organize and maintain fabric, trim, and hardware libraries.
Track all development and SMS samples, maintaining up-to-date status reports and digital records.
Participate in fittings.
Support the preparation of line sheets, presentation boards, and internal review materials for milestone meetings.
Communicate clearly with product development and production teams to ensure design intent is executed accurately and on time.
Assist in organizing showroom samples and visual merchandising for market appointments and internal presentations.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in outerwear or woven apparel.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with CAD/PLM systems preferred.
Strong understanding of garment construction and fit.
Experience with 3D design tools is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable working with overseas partners.
