Compensation:

$65,000-$80,000 annually

KITH is seeking an Associate Men’s Designer to join the Men’s Design team, reporting directly to the Senior Men’s Designer.

Responsibilities

Support the Senior Designer in executing design tasks and projects with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet all departmental deadlines.

Create and maintain comprehensive tech packs, including detailed construction notes, measurements, color callouts, and trim information.

Collaborate closely with the Senior Designer throughout each season to research, develop, and design men’s collections.

Actively participate in meetings, taking clear, detailed notes and tracking follow‑ups as needed.

Update sketches in Adobe Illustrator and maintain accurate BOMs throughout the development process.

Accurately size, place, and adjust graphics and textiles in accordance with design intent and brand standards.

Communicate regularly with overseas vendors and internal cross‑functional partners to relay updates and manage changes to the assortment.

Ensure the highest quality standards across all categories by reviewing samples, confirming accuracy to tech packs, evaluating workmanship, and flagging any discrepancies.

Assist the Senior Designer in preparing seasonal presentation boards and materials for seasonal kick‑offs and internal reviews.

Track design updates and revisions to ensure alignment across design, development, and production teams.

Organize and maintain seasonal design files, references, and archives.

Special Projects/Tasks

Attend all fittings

Partner with Tech Design for anything fit related in seasonal development

Update all tech packs after fitting and update line sheets accordingly

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience working in apparel design, preferably within a contemporary or streetwear‑focused brand.

Must be comfortable in working on all product categories: wovens, knits & sweaters

Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of Photoshop a plus.

Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrication, trims, and production processes.

Experience creating detailed tech packs, BOMs, and production‑ready design documentation.

Strong eye for detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in samples and ensure alignment with design intent.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
