Piping Designer Job at Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) in Lafayette

Lafayette, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Piping Designer to join our Lafayette team.

Essential Duties:
• Ensure constructability, operability, and maintainability in project design
• Develop design configurations for various applicable systems
• Provide efficient, cost-effective technical input into designs
• Prepare detailed design drawings in line with engineering specifications and project deliverables
• Maintain a comprehensive Job Data Book with all pertinent project design data
• Review drawings for completeness, quality, and adherence to standards
• Confirm that all drawings are properly checked
• Prepare or direct the preparation of final drawing plots and transmittals for project deliverables
• Conduct occasional site visits as required

Requirements/Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 5–10 years of relevant working experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or CadWorx
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, and a proactive problem solver
• Excellent attention to detail

Physical Requirements:
• Sedentary office environment with occasional travel for site visits
