The mission of this role is simple but demanding:

identify, pursue, onboard, and grow target customers

while delivering a white-glove customer experience. If you’re energized by building relationships, solving complex problems, and closing deals in a competitive market, this might be your perfect fit.

The Journey Prospecting & New Business Development Aggressively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital prospecting tools provided by Korpack. You’ll own your pipeline and continuously hunt for growth.

Lead Qualification & Discovery Evaluate prospects by uncovering their needs, pain points, budget, and decision-making process. Ask smart, thoughtful questions that educate customers while positioning Korpack as a strategic partner—not just a vendor.

Sales Strategy & Presentations Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that clearly articulate Korpack’s packaging materials, contract packaging, and automation solutions. Translate complex offerings into clear customer value.

Closing & Negotiation Drive deals across the finish line by addressing objections, negotiating terms, and securing commitments. You’ll own the close—and the results.

Maintain a clean, accurate, and active sales pipeline using CRM/ERP tools. Track activity, forecast revenue, and continuously refine your approach based on performance metrics.

Account Management & Growth Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer accounts. Proactively identify opportunities to expand Korpack’s footprint across all assigned customers.

Customer Experience & Collaboration Work closely with Sales Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance to ensure smooth onboarding, quoting, order execution, and long-term customer success.

Travel & Business Reviews Travel to customer locations as needed and prepare/present Quarterly Business Reviews to key accounts. Bring insights, ideas, and data-driven recommendations to the table.

What Success Looks Like

Consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

Building a strong, qualified pipeline of target accounts

Successfully onboarding new customers and expanding existing ones

Becoming a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their pains and desired gains

Driving profitable growth for Korpack through relentless execution

The Requirements Required Experience

4+ years of complex B2B solution sales experience

Proven success as a sales hunter closing new business

Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills

Experience using CRM platforms, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools

Self-motivated, organized, and accountable

Local to Chicagoland area

Industry experience calling on food and beverage / CPG / and manufacturing companies

Preferred Experience

Packaging and/or Contract Packaging industry experience

Familiarity with multiple CRM platforms and sales enablement tools
