Hybrid:
Onsite Tuesday and Wednesday, open to well qualified remote candidates
Pay Rate:
$50-$60/hr
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop creative learning solutions in multiple modalities that may include: ILT/VILT, blended learning, interactive e-learning, micro videos, mobile/on-device learning, job aids, certifications, and participant/facilitator guides.
Partner with global stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate business needs into consumable, learner-centered solutions that enhance learning and learner experience, accounting for geographic nuances.
Translate strategic vision and requirements into storyboards and concrete designs, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and SMEs.
Create design specs, storyboards, scripts, and prototypes that map directly to learning outcomes.
Build interactive eLearning modules in Articulate Storyline and Rise; produce learning assets—videos, slides, facilitator/participant guides, job aids—using Adobe Creative Cloud and related tools.
Maintain and enhance existing content and assets to reflect evolving business needs.
Explore ambiguous learning topics with curiosity and propose creative solutions.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable design templates, asset libraries, naming conventions, and file hygiene to accelerate future builds.
Organize and prioritize work, manage projects to a timeline, and provide regular status updates.
Delivery high-quality work on tight timelines; manage competing priorities and pivot quickly as business needs change while keeping stakeholders aligned.
This is an individual contributor role.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree with emphasis on instructional design, graphic design and/or instructional technology or education related discipline.
Experience in instructional design, instructional technology and development/tech communications.
Expert skills in Articulate 360 suite, Adobe Creative Cloud.
Familiarity with SCORM, online learning, learning technology, instructional, graphics, and/or web design or development skills using various tools/software (HTML, Articulate, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond or similar); as well as LMS platform.
Familiarity using audio and visual editing tools (Final Cut, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Camtasia, Audacity, Premiere, Photoshop, GIMP, SnagIt, Well Said Labs, etc. or similar).
Strong communicator and collaborator; builds strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Solid understanding of instructional design and learning theory.
Curious, hands-on problem solver who rapidly prototypes, tests, and iterates without sacrificing quality.
Strong visual sensibility (layout, color, typography) with meticulous attention to detail; willing to roll up sleeves.
Tech savvy and quick to learn new tools and workflows.
Exceptional prioritization and time management—delivers high quality work on tight timelines, manages competing priorities, and pivots quickly as needs change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with professional presence; takes initiative and proactively offers solutions to challenges whenever possible.
