Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager – Ruidoso, NM

Benefits & Compensation
Competitive base salary ($50K–$70K) plus commission on new business and renewals
Equity participation: inherit a book of business from day one, plus potential for ongoing revenue on retention, new business, and renewals
Annual holiday party with paid travel and expenses to Denver
Health, dental, and vision coverage (50% employer paid)
401(k) with 4% company match
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote (after onboarding)
All quoting and admin handled by offshore team, allowing you to focus on sales and client relationships
Requirements & Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
Proven experience with personal lines insurance products
Strong consultative sales and client relationship skills
Comfortable managing a book of business and driving retention results
Familiarity with compliance, carrier underwriting, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency with Applied EPIC or similar agency management systems
Preferred Background & Skills
Experience selling or servicing auto, home, renters, umbrella, and specialty personal lines
Knowledge of preferred and non-standard market carriers
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Build and nurture client relationships while managing an existing book of business ($2.5MM in premium)
Sell a range of personal insurance products and generate new business through inbound and outbound outreach
Conduct client needs analyses and present tailored coverage recommendations
Ensure a smooth transition of accounts to service teammates for quoting and administration
Accurately document client interactions and sales activities in management systems
Stay current on market trends and carrier guidelines to align solutions with client needs
