Join our dynamic Learning Center of Excellence within Global Quality as an Associate Director, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing training programs tailored for our Commercial and General & Administrative teams. Your expertise will directly influence the alignment of our learning strategies with regulatory standards and business objectives, fostering a culture that prioritizes compliance, quality, and continuous improvement across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Strategy & Design
Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy that supports the needs of the Commercial and G&A teams while adhering to Global Quality standards and business goals.
Collaborate with functional leaders to determine learning needs, compliance gaps, and performance enhancement opportunities.
Program Development & Delivery
Create engaging, compliant, and scalable learning solutions such as instructor-led sessions, virtual training, and e-learning designed for diverse audiences.
Oversee the development and upkeep of training content, ensuring it is accurate, relevant, and compliant with regulatory guidelines.
Governance & Compliance
Guarantee that all training programs meet global regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Track training efficiency and maintain audit-ready documentation for inspections.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, HR, Legal, and IT to promote the adoption and ongoing enhancement of learning initiatives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on training trends, compliance risks, and strategies for building capabilities.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Establish KPIs and utilize data analytics to assess the impact of training and identify areas for improvement.
Remain updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes to advance our learning programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences, Education, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
8+ years of experience in learning and development, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sectors.
Strong grasp of R&D functions and the regulatory landscape (GxP, ICH, FDA, EMA, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective learning programs based on adult learning principles.
Familiarity with learning technologies (e.g., LMS, virtual learning platforms) and data-driven training strategies.
Experience developing and executing global training programs for Commercial and G&A teams.
Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and digital learning technologies.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
