
Order Entry Specialist
The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for executing and assisting with the daily administrative and operational procedures for the customer service department. This role involves supporting authorized personnel in timely and accurate order entry, order confirmations with estimated shipping dates, and reviewing EDI orders. The specialist will also engage with customers through telephone, chat, and email to provide pre and post-sales support, aiming to maintain a high service rating. Responsibilities: Follow and assist with daily administrative and operating procedures for the customer service department. Support authorized personnel in accurate order entry, confirmations, and EDI order reviews. Engage with customers via telephone, chat, and email, ensuring high service ratings. Provide order status updates, shipping information, and shipment tracking upon request. Authorize return goods using the approved procedures and manage restocking fees. Enter commercial and hospitality job purchase orders as per approved quotes and coordinate with the warehouse for product shipment. Collaborate with supply chain to confirm lead times and provide open order reports to top customers. Support the customer service department with data entry and minor reporting tasks. Essential Skills: 1+ year of administrative experience Proficiency in administrative support, data entry, and Microsoft Office Ability to multitask and attention to detail Technical aptitude to learn new programs and navigate multiple systems Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Work Environment: This position is based onsite in a cubicle/office environment. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Kohler, WI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
