
Field-Based Business Development Role
A brand-new delivery initiative is launching in the Chicago area
and we're building a high-energy team to bring it to life. This is a field-based business development role focused on identifying and onboarding local businesses interested in becoming delivery partners. You'll collaborate closely with a Field Manager and a small team of recruiters as you visit local businesses, pitch the program, qualify applicants, support them through onboarding, and help grow community awareness. Visit local businesses door-to-door within a 90-minute to two-hour radius to generate interest. Deliver a compelling pitch that clearly communicates program benefits. Qualify businesses and guide them through each step of the application and vetting process. Track all lead activity and manage your pipeline using Salesforce. Partner with your Field Manager to plan and execute recruitment events such as: Lunch & Learns Townhall meetings Community coffee chats Build relationships with key local influencers (Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development groups, business associations). Import and organize lead data using Excel and Salesforce. What You Bring
12+ years in sales or customer service (required). Outside/field sales experience, including door-knocking or territory sales (required). Salesforce or CRM experience (required). Strong communication skills and professional presence. High sense of urgency, self-motivation, and comfort working independently in the field. Ability to solve problems on the spot while supporting applicants through onboarding. Tech-savvy, with experience using multiple systems. Ability to travel up to 4 hours round-trip daily. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Earning Potential
This role features uncapped commissions, including: $75 per submitted application $100 per Ready-to-Launch milestone $175 per Launch + 2-week completion Additional monthly incentives for hitting goals Average annual commissions range $15,000$25,000, with top performers earning significantly more.
