Gasoline Branded Sales Representative

The Gasoline Branded Sales Representative is responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding branded and unbranded fuel sales within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating supply agreements, and ensuring consistent, reliable fuel delivery to independent retailers, jobbers, and dealers. Essential Functions Of The Job: 1. Grow branded and unbranded gasoline and diesel sales by identifying and securing new customers. 2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent retailers, jobbers, and dealers. 3. Conduct regular prospecting, cold calls, and site visits to expand market presence. 4. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, pricing options, and supply contract terms. 5. Regularly contact potential customers to solicit new business, propose pricing, and close sales. 6. Manage image and contract compliance. Maximize utilization of Brand Programs for dealers and JDS retail sites. 7. Act as project manager between customers and vendors on all brand imaging construction projects. 8. Assist in reviewing and negotiating fuel supply agreements and credit card processing agreements. 9. Implement and maintain credit card processing account activities. 10. Ensure customers meet credit requirements and assist with credit applications when needed. 11. Collect pricing data and prepare and dispatch pricing documents. 12. Review customer pricing for accuracy. 13. Participate in the development of marketing strategies, loyalty programs, mystery shop programs, and promotions to increase sales. 14. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build market knowledge and relationships. 15. Represent the company professionally and uphold all ethical and compliance standards. 16. Prepare documentation required for reporting expenses, establishing new customer accounts, etc. 17. Assist JDS retail division in a variety of functions including imaging upkeep, sales support, fleet card and house accounts, field support, and customer service. 18. Review aging reports for delinquent customers. Resolve customer issues promptly, including delivery concerns, billing questions, and supply disruptions. Position Qualification Requirements: Education: Knowledge of sales procedures, petroleum industry and commodities market equivalent to a basic high school education plus two years of college or equivalent training. Experience/Qualifications: At least two years of experience in fuel sales, petroleum distribution, convenience retail, or related industry. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze pricing, market data, and customer trends. Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented. Familiarity with CRM systems and fuel pricing tools. Must pass a pre-employment background check and MVR. EOE/M/F/V/D/AA
