Salary: $31 - $33 / hour Rapport is a specialized division of FLIK Hospitality Group focused on all aspects of guest and employee services, meeting and event planning and conference center management. The Community Ambassador is responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members at all times. Manage, maintain, and stock all areas of the office. The Community Ambassador will be the point of contact for reception and executive office as well as curate events and community engagement activities throughout the office. Essential Duties: Greet and welcome visitors with a smile, maintaining eye contact through the entire interaction. Manage the Locker Program on your assigned floors. Restock and organize Printer Nooks, and Supply Closets. Daily floor walks to prepare and maintain Workstations and Conference Rooms throughout the day and between meetings. Aligning all furniture to ensure a welcoming look and inputting daily data into the system. Ensure the cleanliness of all assigned areas. Manage inventory of supplies and keep assigned areas stocked and organized. Provide general administrative support. Respond to inquiries in a timely manner and anticipate customer needs. Speak knowledgeably about the office & building. Working knowledge of department's room reservation system. Working knowledge of basic technology in office. Maintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate all updates with your team members. Maintain and report on all maintenance and technology related issues. Communicate and interact effectively with all other departments. Preparation, execution, and closeout of special business-related events. Create and send out weekly newsletters. Assist with office moves or other assigned projects in your building. Perform other related as assigned by supervisor. Skills Needed To Be Successful: Strong customer service and hospitality experience. Punctual, dependable, and dedicated to achieving operational excellence, down to the smallest of details. Ability to organize work in a manner that facilitates timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks. Ability to manage multiple tasks or assignments, and complete assignments within established deadlines. Ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing situations with minimal planning/information. Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. The ability to work under pressure, while constantly interacting with visitors in a public environment Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment Discreet, ethical, and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. The ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs. Communication Skills: Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively to associates, clients and other individuals. Ability to convey information clearly and accurately in a professional and respectful tone with associates and clients. Ability to share ideas, feedback, and opinions in a constructive and professional manner. Ability to listen and be open to learn from other people's advice and observations.
