We’re looking for an experienced
Superintendent
to join our construction team in
Charleston, SC . This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in
Healthcare and/or Commercial construction
who thrives in managing complex, high-quality projects from the field.
Candidates with experience in other construction sectors will be considered,
excluding multi-family .
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day on-site construction operations from start to finish
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to maintain schedule and quality
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific policies
Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and field teams
Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates
Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on track
Requirements
5+ years of experience
as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role
Proven experience in
Healthcare and/or Commercial construction
(required)
Experience in other construction sectors acceptable
except Multi-Family
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, means & methods
Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and drive schedules
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work on-site in
Charleston, SC
Nice to Have
Healthcare projects involving active facilities or renovations
Experience with scheduling software and project management tools
