We are hiring a

VP of Marketing

in the United States who will be responsible for driving the company’s growth through smart, effective marketing. They’ll own our brand, demand generation, and the systems that tie marketing to sales and revenue. To succeed, they’ll need to understand our product and market deeply, work closely with the leadership team, and build a strong, high-performing marketing team. This person should be seen as a go-to expert who can tackle tough growth challenges with data, creativity, and clear communication.

Where you will work This is a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas. You will spend 3 days per week in our Downtown Austin office, with the remaining days for focused work. Our office is dog-friendly and includes 24/7 parking. You will collaborate closely with teammates across the US, UK, Denmark, Germany, and Australia.

What you will do Strategy, Execution, and Growth Ownership

Define

and personally help execute

the overall marketing strategy to achieve

100% YoY growth , reporting progress clearly to leadership

Translate ambitious growth targets into concrete plans, campaigns, and weekly execution

Stay close to the work to ensure strategy survives contact with reality

Predictable Pipeline and Revenue Impact

Drive

predictable pipeline growth

across inbound, outbound, ABM, paid media, events, and partnerships

Work hands‑on with campaigns, channels, and experiments to identify what actually converts

Own funnel performance end to end, from first touch through to revenue impact

Product Positioning and Enablement

Own product positioning and messaging to clearly differentiate Silktide in the market

Personally contribute to core messaging, narratives, and high‑impact content

Enable Sales with clear, usable collateral, tools, and campaign alignment

Sales, Ops, and Cross‑Functional Partnership

Partner closely with Sales and Operations to align on lead quality, funnel metrics, and revenue outcomes

Join pipeline reviews and retrospectives to stay grounded in real performance

Adjust strategy and execution quickly based on feedback and results

Brand, Thought Leadership, and Market Presence

Strengthen Silktide’s brand presence and credibility through consistent, high‑quality execution

Build and scale thought leadership that reflects real expertise and customer value

Ensure brand work supports growth, not vanity metrics

Customer Marketing and Retention

Build customer marketing programs that reduce churn, drive expansion, and create advocacy

Work with Customer Success to turn outcomes into stories and proof pointsTreat existing customers as a core growth lever, not an afterthought

Data, Measurement, and Marketing Operations

Establish a deeply data‑driven marketing culture, personally engaging with metrics and performance

Track and act on CAC, LTV, ROI, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness

Optimise the marketing tech stack and operations to scale lead generation and nurture without friction

Budget Ownership

Own, manage, and allocate the marketing budget for maximum efficiency and return

Make disciplined trade‑offs and investment decisions based on data and outcomes

Explicit ownership and leadership expectation

Lead as a player‑coach: execute with the team, lead by doing, and never delegate work you are not willing or able to do yourself

About you

You are fluent in English and authorized to work in the United States

You have 5+ years of senior B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS

You have personally executed demand generation and growth programs

You are comfortable writing, launching, testing, and iterating yourself

You are highly data‑driven and confident owning performance metrics

You enjoy being close to the work and moving quickly

You thrive in fast‑growing, imperfect environments

You lead through action, not hierarchy

Compensation

$175,000 - $200,000
