Creative Solutions in Healthcare is currently seeking a
Director of Maintenance Operations
to oversee our
Southern Region
facilities, including those in Houston, Austin, and surrounding areas. This leadership role is critical to ensuring our long‑term care facilities remain safe, operationally sound, and survey‑ready.
Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistent attendance are essential to this job. The ability to work cooperatively, multitask under pressure, and maintain professionalism at all times is a must.
Your Impact as Director of Maintenance Operations In this role, you will:
Travel regularly to facilities across the Western Region
Lead, recruit, and train qualified facility maintenance staff
Provide advanced technical support across multiple sites
Supervise facility maintenance operations and outside contractors
Oversee HVAC, boiler/water systems, emergency generators, washers/dryers, and related infrastructure
Review and ensure Life Safety compliance in all facilities
Conduct and submit weekly inspection reports
Establish and manage preventive maintenance programs
Monitor department budgets and ensure cost‑effective operations
Enforce safety procedures and compliance with all federal/state regulations
Support staff through strong leadership, training, and hands‑on mentorship
What Makes You a Great Fit We’re seeking someone who:
Has a
Bachelor’s Degree
(required)
Has experience managing multiple employees across several locations
Possesses a strong understanding of physical plant operations and preventative maintenance
Is highly organized with strong attention to detail
Demonstrates leadership, accountability, and the ability to coach others
Can communicate clearly and professionally with staff and leadership
Is proficient in maintenance repair and facility equipment troubleshooting
Understands compliance requirements and the Patient Bill of Rights
Can travel regularly and qualify for company vehicle insurance
Has a valid driver's license and a clean DMV record
