Position Summary The Chief of Staff works directly with Berry Law’s Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership team to drive execution, optimize executive effectiveness, and ensure firm‑wide priorities are delivered on time and to standard.

This role is designed for a high‑performing professional with the capability and ambition to operate as a strategic partner to the CEO. The Chief of Staff serves as a force multiplier—owning projects, managing cross‑functional initiatives, and ensuring alignment across the organization. This position offers significant exposure to executive decision‑making and is a key leadership role within the firm.

Core Responsibilities Executive & Strategic Leadership Support

Serve as a trusted advisor and operational extension of the CEO

Manage and prioritize CEO initiatives, communications, and follow‑ups

Attend meetings on behalf of the CEO and represent executive intent

Prepare daily, weekly, and forward‑looking executive briefs

Coordinate communication and execution across the C‑suite

Project & Workflow Management

Lead CEO‑sponsored strategic projects from planning through execution

Establish timelines, deliverables, and accountability mechanisms

Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives and ensure alignment with firm priorities

Identify risks, bottlenecks, and execution gaps and drive resolution

Track progress and report outcomes to executive leadership

Communications, Calendar & Executive Operations

Manage complex executive calendars and scheduling priorities

Filter, prioritize, and respond to executive communications

Ensure the CEO’s time is protected and focused on highest‑impact work

Oversee preparation of executive correspondence, presentations, and briefings

Maintain strict confidentiality and professional discretion

Public Engagement & Thought Leadership Support

Coordinate podcast production, guest outreach, research, and show preparation

Support public speaking engagements, events, and media appearances

Manage logistics, travel, and preparation for external engagements

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree

Experience as a Chief of Staff, executive assistant, law firm administrator, paralegal, executive operations leader, or military aide‑de‑camp

Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills

Significant project and workflow management experience

High digital literacy and ability to quickly learn new platforms and tools

Experience managing CRM systems, data integrity, and reporting

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High accountability, ownership mindset, and sound judgment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, collaboration tools, and virtual meeting platforms

Outstanding professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Preferred

MBA or advanced business education

PMP certification

Experience supporting public‑facing executives or content creators

Military aide‑de‑camp or senior staff experience

EOS Integrator or EOS implementation experience
