Overview The Category Development and Sales Analytics Graduate will support the development of the Energy Drink Category and Red Bull brand at Walmart through sales analysis, category management and shopper insights. As the Category Development and Sales Analyst Grad, you will partner with the internal Category Development team and Walmart Account Manager team and participate and observe external retailer buyer meetings. Reporting into the Director of Category Development, you will have the opportunity to learn and become proficient in industry leading data platforms including Walmart Scintilla, Numerator, BI Reporting, Space Planning software and other dashboards and have an immediate impact on a fast growing and exciting category.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: CATEGORY DEVELOPMENT Become proficient in understanding syndicated data tools such as Walmart Scintilla, Numerator and IRI; and, developing a basic knowledge base of how to uncover shopper behavior. Understand how to read syndicated data, how to identify opportunity gaps in volume, share, pricing, space and distribution; and apply your learnings to size retailer and category growth potential.

SALES ANALYTICS Learn and apply fundamentals of retail analytics such as point of sale analysis, pricing, and new item tracking. Gain experience in the creation of field sales content, item, and pricing special project ownership to improve retail execution and sales growth both in-store and online.

SHOPPER INSIGHTS Become familiar with how to apply primary research to category stories using a shopper centric and holistic mindset. Develop proficiency with the Walmart Shopper Behavior Test and Learn module to measure shopper marketing treatments; and, identify and target underserved shopper groups by product and category segment.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Proven excellence in academic pursuits

A history of pursuing personal passions, extra‑curricular achievements

Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Math, Engineering, Life Science or other related field (completed by June 2026)

Relevant work or internship experience is a plus

Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Fluent in English (written, spoken) and local language

The salary for this position is $73,000.
