Position Summary The Proposal Coordinator will support business development efforts by assisting with the planning, development, and execution of competitive proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This role works closely with business development, project management, and leadership teams to help develop compelling proposal strategies, messaging, and visuals that strengthen the company's competitive position.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and skilled in both technical and creative communication, with the ability to manage multiple proposal tasks under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and documenting proposal plans, including schedules, assignments, storyboards, and win strategies.
Support proposal development activities throughout the entire lifecycle, including RFP release, end game, and final submission ("checkmate").
Participate in go/no‑go reviews and official proposal kickoff meetings.
Assist with pink team reviews and incorporate feedback into proposal narratives, graphics, and marketing materials.
Support the development of proposal graphics, layouts, and visuals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Assist in gathering and developing proposal metrics, including:
Change orders
Safety performance
Budget and schedule performance
Diversity goals
Community involvement initiatives
Coordinate with proposal team members to ensure compliance with RFP requirements and internal standards.
Attend professional association meetings, trade shows, and conferences to build a professional network; assist with booth setup and preparation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
