Outside Sales Representative (Electronic Components) - Southeast
Synexis Global, El Paso, Texas, United States
If you’re a
proper hunter
(not someone who “maintains relationships” and calls it sales), this one’s for you.
Imagine walking into a business unit doing ~$140m a year built almost entirely from
inbound demand . Now imagine being part of the
first proper outbound sales team
they’ve ever had - the group that gets to crack open untouched regions, win serious programmes, and actually build the thing everyone else later pretends they were part of.
If that gives you a little buzz then keep reading.
The Gig (AKA Why You Might Actually Like This One) You won’t inherit an over-loved patch where your predecessor has already squeezed every last drop of revenue out of it.
Nope. You’ll be carving out territory in markets like:
Military/Aerospace, LEO satellites, drones/UAV, advanced labs, telecom, and industrial.
And don’t worry, you won’t be alone. You’ll have PLMs and internal teams doing the pricing and proposal wizardry while you do the fun bit:
opening doors, getting meetings, winning work .
(If you prefer updating CRMs 9 hours a day, this is not your vibe)
Who We’re After We’re not looking for farmers.
We’re also not looking for “relationship nurturers”, “trusted advisors”, or “pipeline artists”.
We’re looking for someone who can say, with their chest:
“I’ve opened big accounts before.”
“I’ve grown regions.”
“Yes, I can talk to engineers without sweating.”
“50+ outbound attempts a day? Fine. Pass me the phone.”
If you can prove your wins (not just describe them poetically), you’re halfway there. Bonus points if you know RF, electronics, or similar technical component environments. Extra bonus points if you enjoy making introverted engineers say “wow, that actually makes sense”. Technical degree? Great. Not required if you’ve shown you can sell to technical people without crying.
What You’ll Actually Do
Hunt down new customers like it’s your cardio
Build big, strategic opportunities
Get designs specified and approved on upcoming programmes
Work with reps, distributors, PLMs, and internal teams who actually know what they’re doing
Why You’ll Love This (And Why Most Won’t) This role is visible.
Your activity is visible.
Your wins are very visible.
If you love hunting, this is heaven.
If you hate rejection, this is hell.
If you like hiding behind “account growth” slides, this is a no.
BUT if you want to build something, own a region, win serious programmes, and be part of the first proper outbound sales engine this company has ever had, then this is big!
